Professional Photo Shoot

I was so excited when my friend Meg asked to do a business swap that would benefit us both.... Meg has her own photography business, Tea and Brie Photography... so she'd take some professional shots for me, and I would make cupcakes and dinosaur cookies for her daughter's birthday party (check out AliCakes on Facebook for those pics!) She said she had never done commercial stuff before... but after seeing these, I'm not sure I believe her. More to come....

More than just cupcakes!

I was at a party this weekend and someone was asking me about the business... she was surprised that I had made an ice cream cake for the event, and then I realized...people may not know that Ali*Cakes is more than just cupcakes! Whatever the event, there is an appropriate dessert. Cupcakes are perfect for when variety is needed, people aren't sitting in one place, or when the setting is on the more playful and whimsical side.
